The Eurasian Economic Union UEE is gradually replacing the customs union, which is why samples of certificates of conformity for various goods are also replaced. The EAC certificate is a document that certifies the quality level of the manufactured products and their compliance not only with the conditions of the CU technical regulation (CU TR), but also with the established regulations of the EAEU.
Certain properties and characteristics are regulated for each product group and must be observed. The EAEU Certificate of Conformity is a consolidated document for participating countries, which include the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia. The document is provided in Russian, however, if necessary, it can be translated into the language of any country that is part of the union.
How to get a certificate from the Eurasian Economic Union:
To approve the EAC certificate of conformity it is necessary to follow the procedure decreed at any official certification center. In this case, the applicant must be an individual entrepreneur or a legal person legally and permanently registered in the territory of one of the member countries of the union. If it is necessary to obtain a document for a company that has been registered outside the borders of the union member countries, the participation of a manager who is an importer on the territory of these countries is required.
The EAC certification can be passed by a foreign company at the request of a suitable representative and only in this way. The EAC certificate of conformity is issued only if the goods are absolutely compliant with the rules established by the legislation. At the same time, the list of regulations is constantly growing and there are more products that are subject to mandatory certification.
What is needed to get a document: To obtain an EAC certificate, you need to contact a specialized certification center that has the appropriate accreditation. For example, in our center.
The following documents must be submitted together with the written application:
constitutive documentation of the organization on behalf of which the application is submitted; technical conditions (TU), TR and other documents relating to the manufacture of goods subject to certification. After the submission of the indicated documents and the application, the center decides on the need for certification (if the product is included in the Unified List of products for which the procedure for mandatory quality and safety tests is established), the plan for its implementation, as well as the required experiments in the laboratory.
The procedure for obtaining certification:
If a positive decision has been made in the certification center, the further procedure is as follows:
The plan under which the EAC certification is carried out is agreed upon. Samples of goods are selected for research in accordance with established principles (does not apply to all products). Studies (and other controls) are carried out in a laboratory. A protocol for laboratory tests is drawn up. It is decided to issue a document based on the results obtained in the experiments. A document is issued and entered in the register. It is important to remember that paperwork is not done in all certification centers.
Validity:
Obtaining a certificate is possible for a period of one to five years. At the same time, the period of validity of documents for most goods is established by the appropriate technical rules, of which more than 20 have been developed and approved in the Common Territory, depending on the type of product. If not indicated in the relevant documents, the period of validity is indicated by the applicant, but the period must not exceed five years.
